RoPay Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms" or "Agreement") govern your use of the services provided by RoPay ("we," "our," or "us") and constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RoPay.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must refrain from using the Services.

Undefined capitalized terms used herein shall have the meaning set forth in the RoPay Privacy Policy.

1. Use of the Services

RoPay provides users with a payment facilitation platform integrated with Roblox OAuth 2.0. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to:

(i) Comply with these Terms, all applicable laws, and regulations.
(ii) Use the Services solely for lawful purposes.
(iii) Refrain from engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive activities.
(iv) Ensure that all User Content submitted to the Services complies with our acceptable use policies.

RoPay reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services, or restrict access to users who violate these Terms or applicable laws.

The Services are designed to align with Roblox's user base, which includes users of all ages allowed by Roblox's platform. Given that Roblox's platform itself has mechanisms and policies for managing content for users of various ages, we aim to adhere to those same principles.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Services, you must authenticate via Roblox OAuth 2.0. By doing so, you grant RoPay permission to obtain and process your Roblox User ID, display name and username.

You are solely responsible for:

(i) Maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials (e.g. Roblox account).
(ii) All activities conducted through your account.
(iii) Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized access.

RoPay is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.

3. User Content

The Services allow you to create and share User Content, which may include:

(i) Product descriptions, payment links, and associated media.
(ii) Text-based communications regarding transactions and/or the product/service you serve (e.g. payment confirmation custom message).

You represent and warrant that:

(i) You have the rights and permissions necessary to post and share User Content.
(ii) Your User Content does not violate any applicable laws, infringe third-party rights, or include prohibited materials.
(iii) You grant RoPay a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display your User Content to your customers.

RoPay reserves the right to moderate, remove, or restrict access to User Content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

(i) Use the Services for fraudulent transactions or deceptive practices.
(ii) Distribute harmful software or engage in unethical activities with customers.
(iii) Post or distribute illegal, obscene, or offensive content.

Violation of these provisions may result in account termination and legal action.

5. Termination

RoPay may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if:

(i) You violate these Terms or applicable laws.
(ii) You engage in fraudulent or deceptive activities.
(iii) Your account poses security risks or technical concerns.

Upon termination, your User Content will be removed, and any outstanding balance will be paid out to the linked account.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

(i) RoPay is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
(ii) The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
(iii) RoPay is not responsible for third-party services, transactions, or user-generated content.

7. Changes to Terms

RoPay reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms at its discretion. Any changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
